FREEDOM AND DELIVERANCE - A ministry designed to set the captive free, to heal the brokenhearted and to restore the souls of those destroyed through the effects of sin. People bound by homosexuality, alcohol, drug addiction, victims of physical and emotional abuse etc., are ministered complete freedom and liberty by the transforming power of the Word of God and through the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. ADMINISTRATIVE VOLUNTEERS – A group of volunteers aid and assist in numerous and varied projects under the direction of Pastor Debbie Mustafa. They work both independently at home and at the church during the weekly scheduled workdays.
AUDIO CD & TAPE MINISTRY – A full array of powerful Word of Faith teaching tapes and CD’s by Pastors Errol and Debbie Mustafa, the City Bible Church Pastoral Staff and Guest Ministers to strengthen, encourage and empower you in your walk with the Lord. CITY BIBLE CHURCH BOOK STORE – Our exciting Bookstore is available to equip God's people with literature, books, and resources for the growing believer. This vital ministry is a powrful tool to serve God and the Body of Christ. Our Bookstore is located just outside of our sanctuary in Suite 7 and is open before and after our services.
CITY NEWS MAGAZINE AND EDITORIAL TEAM – The City News Magazine has been developed as an evangelism tool to reach out to the city of Jacksonville and beyond. It’s published yearly and is filled with fresh, anointed articles teaching the uncompromised Word of God, overflowing with tremendous testimonies of God’s awesome power in our midst. Pastor Debbie is the City News Editorial Team Director.
DEACONS MINISTRY – At City Bible Church the Deacons Ministry is comprised of team of faithful men and women dedicated to the ministry of helps to assist and support the pastor. They are involved in a multitude of tasks, a few which involve - greeting the congregation as they arrive for service, receiving the offering, administering communion and organizing the prayer lines, etc. Wayne McBeth is the Director of the Deacons Ministry.
EVANGELISM MINISTRY – Led by Chad Yarmer, who has been involved in full time ministry, our Evangelism Ministry has been a very fruitful outreach of City Bible Church reaching out to the Jacksonville, FL area. Enthusiastic soul winners venture out being filled with the Holy Spirit and are ready to demonstrate the power of God to a hurting, lost and dying world, fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus.
HOSPITALITY & SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE – This ministry coordinates special events at City Bible Church providing organizational skills and decorating for church functions. Deborah Lummus can be contacted for more information.
MEN’S FELLOWSHIP – Meeting for an 8:30 am breakfast quarterly, these men have a dynamic time of ministry in the Word and fellowshipping with one another. Various topics are covered challenging the men to rise up and fulfill their destiny as godly, successful men within their homes, being effective fathers, and dynamic in business and in the community.
MOTHER’S NURSING ROOM – (Ages newborn – 1 years) Children are of utmost importance to us at City Bible Church. A Mother’s Nursing Room is available at the back of the sanctuary to meet the needs of our youngest saints. There are plenty of toys and a very comfortable, loving atmosphere for our precious little ones to enjoy the presence of God and perhaps a nice cozy nap whenever desired. It is also equipped with a one-way mirror for mothers in the nursing room to be able to enjoy the service while attending to their newborn.
OPEN ARMS MINISTRY – This is a mercy ministry of City Bible Church which reaches to those within the church and in the community with food for those in need. Joanne Sanzone is the director of the Open Arms Ministry.
PASTORAL MINISTRY – The entire Pastoral Staff of City Bible Church is committed to ministering to the needs of God’s people by the power and demonstration of the Word and through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Ministry is conducted throughout the three main worship services, Sunday morning, evening and the Wednesday Bible Study, through the Biblical Training Classes and through personal times of prayer ministry and one on one interaction. Area Elders are also available for the every day Pastoral care of God's people.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAM – An anointed ministry with a determined heart to lead God’s people successfully into the presence of God each and every service. Our talented singers and musicians minister contemporary praise and worship music expecting God’s people to receive healing and powerful ministry of “times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord.” Practicing five hours per week, they are intensely dedicated and committed to being used of God. Pastor Debbie Mustafa is the Director of the Praise and Worship Ministry.
SOUND AND MEDIA MINISTRY – Technically trained individuals ensure the successful transmission of the audio quality of every City Bible Church service. The City Bible Church Web site is also developed and maintained by this ministry along with the designing of power point presentations.
SINGLES MINISTRY - All singles of the church get together for a fun-filled monthly fellowship. Check our calendar to stay updated with the Singles events. The Singles Ministry is led by Debra Howard.
WOMENS MINISTRY – A powerful outreach to the women of Jacksonville ministering God’s Word in power and in demonstration bringing freedom to the women of Jacksonville, elevating them to a place of maturity to be all that God desires for them to be. Pastor Debbie Mustafa is the Director of the Women’s Ministry.
YOUNG ADULT FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY – The College and Career Fellowship Ministry targets young adults ages 18 and older and/or Seniors in High School and above. These awesome times of fellowship give a great opportunity for young people to mingle with people their age and to be a part of an awesome group of like minds.
