Our Story
In 1992, Pastor Errol and Debbie Mustafa felt the call of God to start City Bible Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. The church flourished and 6 1/2 years later, they made preparations to come to Jacksonville, Florida to pioneer City Bible Church International. City Bible Church Johannesburg has gone on from strength to strength and the new appointed Pastors are now taking that ministry in to new levels. Pastors Errol and Debbie took hold of the vision that God gave them for America, as they live by this motto "Whatever it takes, Lord". The Lord then began to impart strategy to them to venture in to the next phase of taking the gospel "to the Nations." They sold their home, including their furnishings and ventured to America to begin the greatest faith journey of their lives, to establish City Bible Church in Jacksonville.
They first began City Bible Church International, October, 1998 in a storefront church on Beach Boulevard and worked faithfully with a handful of people until the Lord brought the increase. As a matter of high priority, one of the first things they established was the Daily Noon Prayer Meetings, Monday through Friday, which has been the heartbeat and powerhouse of their many successes. Then in 2001, they moved to 11761 Beach Boulevard, where they continued to grow and flourish. Once again they outgrew that facility and moved to their current location as of June 2007 at 11760 Marco Beach Blvd, in the East Park Office Park near the Florida Community Campus of Jacksonville, South Campus.
Pastors Errol and Debbie have been in ministry for over 20 years and are devoted to their family of 4 children, Tamaran, Tyrelle along with his wife Danielle, and twins, Royce and Gabriella, 6 years old. Just as they are commited parents to their children, that same dedication is present in the family of City Bible Church. The church is growing weekly, as people are finding this "Jewel of Jacksonville." Pastors Errol and Debbie are committed to keeping the same warm family atmosphere, regardless of how large the church becomes in the future. As the church has celebrated their 9th year anniversary, October 2007, Pastors Errol & Debbie, along with their staff and leadership, look forward to fulfilling all of God's vision for the city of Jacksonville and the world.
Pastor Errol has a strong apostolic anointing, coupled with a passionate pastoral heart. He is filled with a vision of a church that is vibrant, full of people flourishing and successful in business, relationships, and marriages and fully functional as individuals, overcoming in every situation and prosperous in all things. He flows strongly in the anointing, with signs and wonders, ushering God's people into the tangible presence of the Lord. He operates in the gifts of the Spirit, all of which are for the edifying of the Body. His vision is to activate the Body of Chrst to walk in that same anointing and more. Within the services, God's supernatural power is demonstrated regularly and shown to be for all and not for a select few. His passion and holy walk is reflective of a man who loves and lives on this level. He has a great sense of humor and the Word is communicated in a fun, exciting and dynamic way.
